The Company of the White Hart reenactment group was founded by Andy and Kathy Bradley in 2016 and is a small group based in the heart of Cheshire.

The group attends many events throughout the year doing living history, archery demonstrations and battle reenactments.  This years programme of events can be seen on our events page.

Andy is very knowledgeable about the English Longbow and he is very proud of his Cheshire heritage in respect of this weapon.  He can be spotted at many events wearing the green and white of the Cheshire Archers, bodyguards to the medieval kings.  He has been Captain of Archers at many events and is honoured to have his experience and knowledge respected in this way.

Kathy’s loves the domestic side of medieval life.  She has a wide collection of medieval recipe books and can be seen at events trying these out on friends and colleagues.  She hasn’t killed anybody yet!!

One of the youngest members of the group is Emily.  Aged only 13 she is fast becoming an experienced and confident reenactor, not afraid to talk to the public and is very knowledgable in her subject.  She is currently training to be a dairy maid, learning to make butter and cheese and is a very competent archer.

Sian does many things around the camp from assisting Kathy in the kitchen, to tanning rabbit skins.  She also has an excellent knowledge of herbs. She is also our group first aider and keeps us out of trouble. Both Sian and her husband Rhodri are native Welsh speakers.
